Research claims role in the school nativity can predict future earnings

Were you Mary, Joseph or an angel? According to new research, the role a child plays in the school play can predict what jobs they are likely to get in future.
It’s nearly time for the event of the year, the school nativity play and while most parents hope their child will land the lead role as Mary or Joseph, it’s claimed that the Ox is the role to bag if you want your child to earn well in the future.
The nationwide study of 2,000 British adults has discovered a host of traits in adult life, which directly correlate to the role played as children in the school nativity play.

According to Virgin Media’s findings, Brits who had played the part of the ox now earn a cool £43,000 a year on average, more than TWICE as much as those who played a lamb or sheep, who made on average £20,000.

‘Marys’ are also the most likely to be truly content in their adult life, while ‘Josephs’ came in second place, with those who played the role likely end up with a job in finance or banking.

Elsewhere, former angels are most likely to end up in a modest role within the healthcare industry, earning an average of 25k, while children who played the Wise men are most likely to end up working in construction.
