Mother’s Day: Secrets to being a SUPERMUM revealed by Britain’s kids
- PLENTY of cuddles, being able to skateboard and wearing cool clothes makes you a “super mum”, according to Britain’s kids.
A poll of primary school pupils ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday found that doing funny voices while reading bedtime stories, making costumes for school plays rather than buying them and always being on time to pick them up from school also made the list of 32.
Around two thirds said hugs were the most important quality while 62 per cen liked their mum to make them laugh.
And nearly a third in the research by jeweller Beaverbrooks loved watching funny YouTube videos together.
A fifth said it was important for their mother to act cool in front of their friends.
Lorna Haddon, from Beaverbrooks, said: “It is great to see what our kids really think.”
Most said they would be getting mum a massive box of chocolates on the day.
